The event, which Apple is calling "Let Loose", will be held at 7:30 PM.
Apple could launch the OLED iPad Pro in two variants.
Apple might also introduce Apple Pencil and a redesigned Magic Keyboard.
Apple sent waves of excitement across the tech industry when it announced the “Let Loose” event scheduled for May 7 at 7:30 PM. Apple has only sent the event invites and is yet to disclose more information. However, the word on the internet is that this event could finally unveil the new iPad lineup.
It has been a while since Apple refreshed its iPad lineup, so this was long due. The last upgrade was two years back, in 2022. In addition to this, Apple can also reveal a new entry-level iPad and the M2 iPad Pro.

What we expect from Apple’s Let Loose event
Apple could launch the OLED iPad Pro in two variants: 11-inch and 13-inch. The big change this year could be the repositioned selfie shooter. Instead of the traditional vertical positioning, Apple might position it horizontally for an improved video calling experience.
We might also get to see a new iPad Air with a 12.9-inch display option alongside the standard 10.9-inch models. It can sport Mini LED displays and can be powered by the advanced M3 chipset.
In addition, Apple might also introduce Apple Pencil and a redesigned Magic Keyboard, which can have aluminum frames and an expanded trackpad. Even the event invite had an Apple pencil.
The reason behind being confident about these rumours is the fact that two iPad models have been spotted on India’s BIS certification website. These went by the codenames of A2836 and A2837. Even Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that this event can showcase “one of the biggest updates to the Apple tablet in a single day.”
Along with all of this, reports also suggest that these new products can be priced higher than the previous iPads. Let’s wait till May 7 to see what Apple has in store for us.
