Speaking about the iPad Pro in particular, Apple has introduced the M4 chipset for this tablet, making it very powerful. The California-based tech giant also shared that its tablets are now AI-ready. Let’s take a look at Apple’s AI features that have been introduced for iPad Air and iPad Pro models.
Apple’s AI features in new iPad lineup
iPad Air AI features
Visual Look Up, Subject Lift, and Live Text: This feature allows users to isolate and move specific elements within images. Live Text on the iPad Air utilises advanced technology to recognize text within images. This can be used for translation and extracting phone numbers. Additionally, Visual Look Up can give detailed information about specific things within pictures, such as famous landmarks etc.
Improved Photo Editing in Photomator: Photomator now has a great enhancement tool called ML Enhance. It has been trained on a massive dataset of 20 million images. This tool lets users elevate their photos with just one click.
Isolate Subjects in Final Cut Pro: With this new AI feature, users can easily highlight subjects within images or videos with a single tap. The iPadOS on the iPad Pro also gives some other AI features, including the ability to match colours accurately etc.
Scan Documents: Apple has tried to make our lives easier by improving the document scanning process. The iPad Pro automatically detects documents and receipts and eliminates shadows from images with AI. For this, it leverages the updated True Tone Flash feature.
Now with WWDC just a month away, I am sure we will soon get to see more AI features on our Apple devices.
