For a while now, everyone’s eyes are set on Apple as it has been pretty late to the AI party. With its recently wrapped up ‘Let Loose’ event, Apple did give us a sneak peek at what its plans are. Along with the launch of refreshed iPads during the event, the company also unveiled the M4 chip which has AI capabilities. And now, everyone is looking forward to Apple’s June WWDC where it is expected that some big AI-related iOS 18 announcements will be made. Previously, you must have heard that Apple was trying to partner with OpenAI for its AI endeavours, and it seems that that deal is almost successful now.
Media reports suggest that Apple has almost finalised its deal with OpenAI. The former will integrate the latter’s technology into their iPhones. The move is correctly timed as it is expected that Apple will introduce AI to its devices with the upcoming iOS 18 update.

As per reports, the deal includes incorporating ChatGPT within iOS 18. With this Apple will introduce AI features on its devices that have been long overdue now. It is expected that these features will be announced next month during Apple’s annual developer conference. In April too Bloomberg reported that the negotiations between Apple and OpenAI had gone farther.

Previous reports also said that Apple was in talks with Google to incorporate its Gemini chatbot. We haven’t heard about any positive progress on that front yet.
Well, we have to take all of this news with a pinch of salt for now as no one from Apple or Open AI, or even Google for that matter has responded to the said claims.
