3 Apple products expected to be announced at WWDC 23
HIGHLIGHTS

WWDC 2023 is taking place in the month of June.

Apple could launch new MacBooks and iMacs at WWDC

We are also expecting a major upgrade in watchOS and Reality Pro mixed reality headset at WWDC.

Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be taking place in California this June. Apple is expected to launch a range of new products at the WWDC 2023, some of which people have been eagerly waiting for some time now.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has published an overview of what products might be coming up from Apple. Apple's mixed reality headset heads the list for a very long time, but according to Gurman new Macbooks and Apple Watch with major updates to the watchOS software are expected at WWDC.

1. Macbooks likely to be launched at WWDC include the new 15-inch MacBook Air, updated 13-inch MacBook Air, and a brand new high-end 13-inch MacBook Pro. But unfortunately the Macs are likely to run on M2-series processors instead of Apple's next generation M3 chip.

Apple also has plans of getting a refreshed version of its 24-inch iMac and a few new Mac Studio Computers. The latter is supposedly under development but the launch date for these aren't known yet.

2. Software is WWDC's main focus, so let's come to that now. Apple is planning for a major upgrade in the watchOS. Except for this, no other software updates are expected this year at WWDC.

3. But, amongst all Apple products, the new mixed reality headset, rumoured to be called as Reality Pro is expected to take the centre stage. It will probably be offering a combination of augmented reality and virtual reality. Bloomberg has mentioned that the headset will include features like hand tracking, eye-tracking, support for digital avatars in FaceTime calls and also a digital crown to have a quick switching between AR and VR. This is said to bring a battery life of two hours through a tethered battery pack that you will have to carry along. The price has been expected to be around $3,000.

WWDC is expected to be Apple's biggest product launch event for 2023. Let's wait for the month of June to experience these new range of Apple products.
