Apple may unveil new iPad Pro lineup, 128GB iPhone SE, Red iPhone 7 in March
The company is tipped to launch four new versions of the iPad Pro alongside other products at an event in March
Apple may be planning to host an event in March to launch a new lineup of the iPad Pro as well as some other products. According to a report by Macotakara, the company may unveil four new iPad Pros alongside a new storage variant of the iPhone SE as well as a new colour for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Apple may also introduce a new band for the Watch.
As per the report, the company will unveil a 7.9-inch, 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch models of the iPad Pro. The 7.9-inch variant of the iPad Pro will most likely be a replacement for the iPad Mini 4. Rumours of Apple launching a 10.5-inch version of the iPad Pro have been going for a while now, with noted analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo stating that the the 10.5-inch and the 12.9-inch variants may be powered by an A10X processor, while the 9.7-inch variant may use a A9X chipset. Macotakara’s report also notes that the 10.5-inch version of the iPad Pro may launch at the end of May, while the remaining three might launch by the end of March.
The report also notes that Apple may unveil a new version of the 5-inch iPhone SE with 128GB of storage. Besides this, we may also get a new Red colour option for the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones. Further, details of the new band that Apple may launch during the event are not yet known.
Last year, Apple held an event in March during which it unveiled the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, the iPhone SE and new bands of the Apple Watch. So, there is a chance that the company might do the same thing once again this year.
