Apple is expected to introduce a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro with bezel-less design, and updates to 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
Apple may announce its 2017 iPad range on April 4 at the Steve Jobs Theater in the new Apple Park campus. In the past, Apple has announced new iPads and Macs at the company's March keynote. Last year, the company announced the Apple iPhone SE with a 4-inch display, and similar design to the iPhone 5s.
The latest speculation around Apple's iPad launch comes from Apple World Today. Apple is expected to update the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros, and might introduce the much-speculated 10.5-inch iPad Pro aimed at enterprise and education sectors. Apple World Today claims that the new device would have same-day availability, and become available right after the announcement.
Apple has already announced that it would open its new campus for some employees in April. At the company's last event, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that this will be the last event at the current headquarter located at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino, California.
To recall, Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad Pro is rumoured to feature a bezel-less design and ditch the physical home button. The new iPad variant is particularly targeted at enterprise consumers. The new 10.5-inch iPad is likely to offer a footprint similar to that of the 9.7-inch model. Other rumours say the new iPads will ship with the company's updated A10X chipset. Apple is also rumoured to introduce a 128GB iPhone SE, and the iPhone 7 in red colour trim.
Apple making its new products available right after launch is rare, and so is the company hosting its event somewhere without finishing in complete symmetry. The new launch date rumour is based on the iPad's availability, but a contradicting statement recently suggested that the iPad launch has been pushed to second half of 2017.
