Apple fans, get ready for an exciting week ahead. Apple’s marketing VP, Greg Joswiak, has teased “an exciting week of announcements” starting Monday, promising an exciting lineup of product updates. Although it’s not an official event, Joswiak’s post on X has sparked anticipation for what could be some major Mac-related news.
While Apple hasn’t provided many details yet, rumours hints at the new Mac lineup, with several updates expected. These announcements could come via press releases spread throughout the week. In addition, select creators have reportedly been invited to in-person hands-on events in Los Angeles to get an early look at the new products.
Here’s what to expect from next week’s announcements.
One of the most anticipated products is the new MacBook Pro with the M4 chip. Leaks have already given us a glimpse of the 14-inch base model, which will likely start with 16GB of RAM. This model is also expected to feature three Thunderbolt 4 ports and include a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU.
Higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are expected to come with even more power, thanks to the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. While the design will likely stay the same, these new chips promise a significant boost in performance.

In addition to the MacBook Pro, Apple is rumoured to release a refreshed 24-inch iMac. The current iMac model runs on the M3 chip, but next week’s announcement could reveal an upgrade to the M4 chip. This new model might also come with 16GB of RAM and two additional CPU cores.
Perhaps the most exciting news is the rumoured redesign of the Mac mini. According to reports, the new Mac mini will be much smaller than its predecessor. It’s also expected to feature M4 and M4 Pro chip configurations.
We’ll have to wait until next week to see exactly what Apple has in store.
