Google is reportedly planning to introduce a new feature with Android 16 that will allow users to manage notifications in a much more intelligent manner. The new feature known as Bundled Notifications, when enabled, will group notifications by theme, similar to how Gmail categorizes emails into sections such as Promotions, News, Social, and Recommendations, to help the user manage notifications more effectively.
According to Android Authority, the Bundled Notification will allow users to view and manage notifications more efficiently. The feature was discovered in the Android 15 QPR 2 Beta 2 release, and users can manually enable or disable it. According to the report, the feature is not yet fully functional and may be powered by Android System Intelligence once it is released to the public.

The feature will benefit a large number of users who receive numerous notification alerts on a daily basis by categorizing them based on their relevance. According to reports, the Android 16 update will include this feature, but there is no official rollout date as of yet.
Those who have access to the above beta update can access the feature by going to Settings and selecting Notifications.
Meanwhile, the Notification Cooldown feature is now available with the beta update. The feature will help in silencing similar types of notifications, ensuring that no distractions are created when someone begins exploding their inbox or any other situation. However, the feature will be disabled by default, and users will need to manually enable it if they want to sort their notification bar.
To gain access to these features, all Android users will have to wait for Android 16, which is expected to be released around June. According to reports, the next Android operating system will also include new features.
