Airtel Broadband has announced the launch of Airtel Movies in India, an online video rental service in partnership with BigFlix. Providing DVD-quality content for computers/laptops and other devices over ethernet/Wi-Fi, subscribers can essentially avail 500 movies, 100 TV shows, 100 trailers and 100 music videos at Rs. 229 a month.

Airtel Movies will host on-demand advertisement-free content, and, as an add on monthly pack, will not accrue any additional bandwidth consumption to users’ monthly data plans, and is the service is exclusive to Airtel Broadband.
