The Predator Thronos gaming chair has a two-tone design and consists of premium PVC leather, a detachable headrest, and adjustable armrests with a 180-degree recline.

Acer has unveiled the Predator Thronos Gaming Chair that wields three monitors and a tower desktop, at IFA, in Berlin. The five feet tall gaming chair is made of steel and features a two-tone color scheme: Black with illuminated White/Blue accents. The structure of the chair resembles a cockpit and the backrest can recline up to 140 degrees. The chair also has a vibrating feature which reacts in sync with the on-screen action.

The chair has a fat base with an illuminated branding and the lighting creeps out from below the chair. It is fitted with a metallic scorpion tail like structure that runs from the back of the chair, continues from above the head to the front. The structure has illuminated Acer Predator logo scattered on the top and sides. The part in the front is designed to hold three 27-inch monitors in a semicircular fashion so that the setup can fully encase the gamer. The monitors are sold separately.

There is a compartment under the chair in which a CPU can be inserted. If the cabinet is large in size, it can be kept beside the chair. The company could have put in place cable routing system so that the gamer does not trip over cables. “The all-new Predator Thronos reimagines the gaming chair for a new level of gamer. It puts the gamer in the game through deep impact vibration, where the chair vibrates upon in-game impact. Integrated with a Predator PC and triple Predator monitors plus gadgets, the Thronos becomes more than a gaming chair—it’s a gamer’s cave,” the company says.

Acer has neither revealed the price nor the time of availability. The speculations are rife that the gaming chair will arrive in the fourth quarter of this year, along with the company’s other new gaming products introduced during the show.
