Acer Iconia Tab A100 rumoured to be launched this month
The launch of the Acer Iconia Tab A100 has been speculated for a while. The device was supposed to be launched in May globally and in June in India but evidently, that did not happen. Now Engadget reports that the seven inch tablet will hit shelves in the US by this month’s end, with an expected price of nearly $300.

The Engadget report says that the launch of Acer Iconia Tab A100 was delayed due to Honeycomb compatibility issues. The A100 sports an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core 1GHz processor along with 512 MB of RAM.

The report also talks about couple of new Aspire notebooks – 15.6-inch 5750Z and 17.3-inch 7739Z . The two notebooks, slated to arrive this month, feature 4GB of DDR3 RAM (upgradable to 8GB), 500GB of storage, and Intel Pentium processors. Both Acer devices have been priced at USD 475.
Meanwhile, there has been no word on release date of A100 in India, but we expect it by September.
