Acer Holo 360 is a VR camera that can make phone calls

Not much is known about the Acer Holo 360 right now except that it is powered by Android and comes with Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity

Acer held its next@acer event in New York City where the company unveiled a number of devices ranging from monitors to gaming devices. However, amidst all that, the company also showed of an interesting little device called the Holo 360. As the name would suggest, the Holo 360 is a is a 360 degree camera that can take photos and videos for VR headsets. What sets it apart though, is that it also doubles as an Android smartphone. 

The device is able to shoot, edit, and post 360 degree videos by itself and connect to the internet Wi-Fi or 4G LTE. Besides this, the device will also be able to make phone calls. However, Acer did not reveal any additional details about the smartphone. Considering that Acer choose not to unveil it alongside its other products or give a price, it stands to reason that Acer wishes to work on the device a bit more before it decides to release it. 

The rest of the devices unveiled by Acer include the Leap Ware wearable, projectors, professional monitors, Aspire and Swift series of notebooks, as well as a range of gaming devices under its Predator brand. These includes the Triton 700 laptop, the X27 and Z1 monitors. The company also unveiled the Helios 300, a new line of affordable gaming laptops.
