A Canary for the Mac
Google has finally released the Google Chrome Canary channel build for Mac OSX in addition to Windows.
Google Chrome already releases stable versions frequently enough, however they have other channels via which updates are delivered even more frequently. The beta channel gives more frequent updates bringing the latest features, but with lesser testing, the dev channel updates even faster, and brings cutting edge features at the cost of stability. Then Google announced yet another channel , the Canary channel, that is updated very frequently, and is prone to break as the updates are delivered without any manual testing at all.
Mac OSX users can now use the Canary version of the browser, and be first in line to experience the latest features as they land on Google Chrome.
Since Google Chrome Canary can be very unstable and unreliable at times, it installs in a different folder and uses a different profile than your normal Google Chrome install, along both to live in harmony on the same computer.
