Get suggestions from Gemini based on what’s on your screen
With the Gemini app on Android, you have a powerful AI assistant at your fingertips. You can easily learn about the world around you, find the perfect words, and create images instantly. Gemini’s deep integration with Google apps like Gmail, Docs, Maps, and Drive ensures seamless assistance in your daily tasks.
With the new Galaxy Z series, Gemini will soon offer smart suggestions based on your screen content. Simply swipe from the corner or say “Hey Google” to access Gemini. For instance, if you’re watching a YouTube video, a prompt like “Ask about this video” will pop up. The Galaxy Z Fold 6’s expansive screen enhances multitasking, allowing you to use the Gemini overlay in a split-screen mode while watching a video.
These updates for the Galaxy series are set to roll out in the coming months.
Circle to Search on the new Galaxy Z Series
Earlier this year, Google announced Circle to Search, an easy way to search on your Android device without switching apps. Since then, the tech giant has been improving this feature. For instance, Google added translation capabilities and homework help to Circle to Search for a range of physics and math problems. And starting later this month, Circle to Search will help you learn more complex topics like symbolic math and scan barcodes and QR codes on your screen.
Circle to Search is also supported on tablets and foldables, like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Flip 6, and will come to more Samsung devices later this year.
Wear OS 5 on the new Galaxy Watches
Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch lineup, including the Watch Ultra and Watch 7, will be the first smartwatches powered by Wear OS 5. These smartwatches offer advanced health monitoring capabilities, including heart rate tracking and sleep monitoring, and a personalised health experience, as well as access to a wide range of apps in Google Play.
YouTube TV in multiview
On the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6, YouTube TV subscribers will be able to watch in multiview, enjoying up to four different streams at the same time.
