Now, we even have details about the likely JioCinema plans for daily, quarterly, and annual subscriptions. Two of these plans could cost you less than ₹100 and what’s even more interesting is the daily JioCinema plan charge. JioCinema Premium plans: What could be in the store?
As you can see in the above image, JioCinema Premium could consist of 3 tiers namely Gold, Daily, and Platinum.
1. JioCinema Daily, as the name suggests is for a day’s use. It could cost as low as ₹2. But, this could be an introductory offer and the actual daily charge could be ₹29. You could get to use 2 devices simultaneously on this plan.
2. The next-in-line plan is JioCinema Gold, which is for 3 months (ie., a quarter), and costs ₹99 at launch. The actual price (without discount) could be ₹299. This plan also supports the simultaneous use of 2 devices.
3. Finally, there is the JioCinema Platinum plan for a 12-month subscription. Its original price seems to be ₹1199 but after the discount, you could get it for ₹599.
Now, although these are still based on leaked material and not official, we should point out that these JioCinema premium subscription plans are more affordable than what Netflix and Amazon Prime have to offer. The cheapest JioCinema plan could cost you just ₹2 and the next tier may cost you not more than ₹100.
Not just that, another rumour that has been making some rounds lately is that JioCinema could be rebranded to JioVoot as both are Viacom platforms.
We may have to wait for a bit more to know whether these details are true. As soon as we have more solid evidence, we shall update you.
