ZeptoLabs, the maker of Cut the Rope, has released its second title Pudding Monsters, available for both iOS and Android. The game revolves around freeing the puddings from the clutches of an evil “fridge-owner.”
Speaking to Bloomberg, Misha Lyalin, the Chief Executive Officer at ZeptoLabs, says that they wanted to create something that is different from “Cut the Rope,” which by the way, has been downloaded more than 100 million times since its launch. “It’s going to be very different. We want to be a gaming company that’s not necessarily limited in what it can explore,” she adds.
ZeptoLabs, the Russian developer says that they have 5 more games they plan on launching over the period of next year, but for now, Pudding Monsters can be downloaded from the App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch and the iPad while Android lovers can get their fix from the Play Store.
ZeptoLabs’ debut game, Cut the Rope, was an instant hit with gamers on the mobile platforms given that it was downloaded over a 100 million times since launch. The game also brought with it an interesting take on puzzle solving, a trend that was sparked by Angry Birds and the like.
