This is the second Pokemon property on Android and iOS after Pokemon Go

After the global sensation that was Pokemon Go took over our phone screens, Nintendo has teased the arrival of another addictive game in Pokemon Masters a few weeks back. Well, the day has arrived and Pokemon Masters has finally gone live on Andoid and iOS devices today, September 30. Jump back into the shoes of legendary Pokemon trainers like Misty and Brock, all while catching and training various Pokemon.

In a collaboration between the Pokemon Company and DeNA, Pokemon Masters is a 3v3 team battle game where the player can only catch one Pokemon and then form a pair. The player can then team up with 2 other players against the AI. DeNA are the company that developed Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes.

If you're still confused about exactly what the gameplay will look like then check out these videos that the developers of the game have released. These videos will give you a better idea of how the various systems in the game work as well as the nuances of the battle system. Ideally, you should just jump in blind and experience the game for yourself, but the other option is available as well.

It's no surprise that Nintendo is moving into the mobile space as it seems like the market is growing and the Japanese game company wants a piece of the pie.
