Xbox One to be available in India from September 23
Microsoft has officially announced the information on India availability and pricing of its latest gaming console – Xbox One.
Microsoft has announced its Xbox One will be available in India from September 23, with price starting Rs. 39,990. The Xbox One with Kinect version will be available for Rs. 45,000.
The basic Xbox One will feature the console with 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray player and built-in Wi-Fi, Xbox One Wireless Controller and a free 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold. With the Kinect version, Microsoft offers a range of exclusive features such as gesture controls, biometric sign-in, controller paring, Skype video calls, instant personalization and instant scanning of QR codes.
“The Xbox One gaming launch line up in India will be colossal, bringing the best line up of exclusive blockbusters, including AAA titles like “Forza Horizon 2” and “Halo: The Master Chief Collection,” which comes with the highly anticipated “Halo 5: Guardians” multiplayer beta,” Anshu Mor, Microsoft India’s Director – Interactive Entertainment Business is quoted as saying.
Microsoft also announced a new programme – Gold Rush – which allows fans to have a chance of winning prize prize pack featuring real Gold and a Collector’s Edition Titanfall pack.
“In addition, if you purchase a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription before 30th of June 2014 you will be entitled to the Xbox One downloadable version of Ryse: Son of Rome, and Killer Instinct Ultra Edition Add-ons worth $100 value,” Mor added.
