Steam Deck now has a fixed release date. The portable gaming console will be available on February 25th, 2022. On Wednesday, Valve stated that the first shipment will be delivered on February 28th, 2022. Users who have previously booked Steam Decks will receive invites to purchase devices from the initial batch on launch day. The initial invitees will have 72 hours after receiving the email to buy their Steam Decks before their invitation is transferred to the next person in the queue. The Valve Steam Deck reservation charge will be applied to users' final orders. However, everyone may only order the model that they have previously booked.
Following the initial batch of order emails, Valve intends to release future batches weekly. All order emails will be dispatched in the order in which they were received. So, if you didn't get around to reserving yours immediately, you could have to wait a few weeks before you can buy one. Users may also reserve units now, although you'll be at the back of the queue for the time being.
More info from Valve’s official announcement:
“We will start sending invites shortly after 10:00 am on February 25th, PST. Order emails are sent in the same order that reservations were made. You can only order the Steam Deck model that you originally reserved. Your reservation deposit will be applied to the final price of Steam Deck, and shipping costs are included.”

No More Waiting for Valve’s Steam Deck
It's nice to finally have a release date for the portable console. Valve announced the Steam Deck in July 2021, with an initial release date of December of that year. It was, however, delayed by two months owing to supply chain and shortage concerns, which have become common with numerous product launches.
Valve's solution to mobile gaming is the Steam Deck, which brings the familiar conveniences of Steam to a small package. The gadget runs a modified version of SteamOS that allows users to access their existing library of Steam game ratings for how well each one performs on the device. The gadget features an AMD Zen 2 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, an AMD RDNA 2 GPU, and 64 GB to 612 GB of internal storage, depending on the variant.
If you haven't already, you may still reserve the Steam Deck for ₹376.34. However, we have to wait quite some time at this point. The order page now states that you may expect to order "after Q2 2022." Valve also mentions that review units of the Steam Deck will be mailed out soon, with an embargo date of February 25th. However, first impressions of the new hardware should be available soon.
