Sony’s anticipated handheld gaming accessory with screen will feature both adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the DualSense while running on 1080p and 60fps over Wi-Fi. While the release date and price have not been disclosed by the brand, the launch might take place later this year.
From the looks of the Project Q handheld, you might need to install your preferred games on the PlayStation 5 console as it is crafted to be a companion for the PS5 and not necessarily a native cloud streaming on Steam Deck, Google Stadia or cell phone.
However, we can expect the project to have cloud gaming soon as Sony would want to offer cloud gaming service and would not lose on the profits from subscription revenue. There has not been any announcement about whether you can stream the games outside your home. Currently the remote supports cellular but you can tether the device to a phone or hotspot with Wi-Fi.
