Gamers Assemble! Sony has finally teased the first picture of the PlayStation 5 Pro, and the gaming world is abuzz with excitement. A recent blog post celebrating Sony Playstation’s 30th anniversary has included an intriguing image that many believe reveals the design of the highly anticipated console.

What we know about PlayStation 5 Pro

Let’s talk about its design first. The image shared by Sony in their anniversary blog features a PS5 with three black stripes running down its center, a striking departure from the single stripe on the current PS5 model. This design closely resembles the sketch of the PS5 Pro that leaked in a report by Dealabs. According to these leaks, the PS5 Pro’s packaging will showcase these distinct stripes. The image included both the existing PS5 and the suspected Pro model.

Coming to its hardware now, the PS5 Pro is expected to bring several key upgrades:

Stronger GPU: The PS5 Pro will probably feature a more powerful GPU, which is predicted to offer a 45% increase in rendering speeds compared to the current PS5.

Faster CPU: While the CPU will retain its core architecture, it will have a higher clock speed of 3.85GHz, which is 10% faster than the standard PS5’s CPU. If you buy it, you might have the flexibility to choose between a standard 3.5GHz mode or the higher frequency mode.

Increased Memory: The memory speed on the PS5 Pro is expected to reach 576GB/s, which marks a 28% boost from the 448GB/s memory speed of the original PS5.

Apart from this, Sony is said to be working on Ray Tracing on the PlayStation 5 Pro. Games that showcase significant enhancements with these features will be branded as “Trinity Enhanced.”

When will it launch?

Since Sony has finally teased the PS5 Pro, we can expect it to launch by the end of this year. However, there is no clarification on any of these details, so I would suggest you take it as a pinch of salt.
