The press release also provided a very brief description of the GTA VI game. “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet,” Rockstar Games said.

The GTA VI trailer is a delight for fans worldwide, who have been eagerly waiting for it for a significant period. As of the time of this writing, the GTA VI trailer has already crossed 26 million views on YouTube in just 3 hours.

Initially, the trailer was scheduled to be released today at 9 AM ET (7:30 PM in India). However, before Rockstar Games, a now-suspended account posted the trailer on X (formerly Twitter), reports The Verge. So, despite the original plan for the trailer to debut on December 5 at 9 AM ET, Rockstar released the trailer on its official YouTube channel earlier than scheduled.
