Via a trailer reveal, Rockstar Games is finally set to announce the release date of Grand Theft Auto or GTA 6. Finally, after two years of leaks and rumours. Taking to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Rockstar Games shared a picture that had a pink and orange sky adorned with palm trees, just matching the GTA Vice City aesthetic.

The text along with the picture read, “Trailer 1. Tuesday, December 5. 9 AM ET.” This in most likelihood means that the first trailer of their upcoming game from the most popular franchise will be out on this date. As for us Indians, we will be able to catch the trailer on Tuesday, December 5 at 7.30 PM.
The announcement seemed like the best news to fans worldwide who have been waiting for it for the longest time. This particular post has now become Rockstar Games’ most popular post on X (formerly Twitter). It got 1.5 million likes, 4,21,000 retweets, along 58,000 comments on the post, as per an HT Tech report. The numbers must have gone up only by now.

Back in November, Rockstar Games shared via a post on the Rockstar Newswire that they are planning to release the GTA 6 trailer around December this year. The post read, “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto”. So, they are possibly right on time.
