Last year, hackers leaked several hours of early content from GTA 6. Rockstar blamed it on a “network intrusion” and stated that it “will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready.”
Recently, a leaked Xbox/Microsoft document revealed that the upcoming GTA 6 is expected to launch next year.
Earlier, it was reported that GTA VI might be unplayable to millions of players when the game launches as it is expected to skip support for last-gen consoles. It was also rumoured that GTA VI’s map will be bigger, and might also change and evolve over time, like in Fortnite. Famous Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson had also predicted the 2024, or 2025 release for GTA VI in a YouTube video, which was later backed by Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier. Moreover, Rockstar had reportedly paused development on Red Dead Redemption and the GTA 4 remasters to dedicate more manpower to GTA 6.
