Microsoft has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 7. That's it. That's all there is to it. For those unaware, Xbox Game Pass gives subscribers access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 backward compatible games on the Xbox One. Users can join for the first month for Rs 50, after which they will have to pay 699 plus tax for the Game Pass ultimate subscription. Game Pass is available in three subscription options. One is for the Xbox Console that gives you access to the library of games that you can download and play. The other is Game Pass for the PC, which is the same as the console offering, just for the PC. The last one, Game Pass Ultimate, Combines the PC and Xbox offering along with the Xbox Games with Gold Subscription to give you the ultimate Xbox experience. According to Microsoft, “Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, plus over 100 high-quality console and PC games. New games are added all the time, so there’s always something new to play. Enjoy exclusive member deals and discounts. Play together with friends on the most advanced multiplayer network and discover your next favourite game”.
Just like Netflix, games are constantly added and removed from the Game Pass library to give gamers a good mix of games to play. Just a heads up – players have got until May 7 to play Grand Theft Auto V with Xbox Game Pass for Console. After that, the game will leave the service.
