PUBG: New State will be celebrating the Lunar New Year in its own special way. The developers of the game have announced that they will be ringing in the Year of the Tiger by holding a surprise coupon event. Starting January 31, the developers will upload new coupon codes every day till February 2.

PUBG: New State – Lunar New Year event

As mentioned earlier, the event will start from January 31 and will go on till February 2. During this period, the developers will drop new coupon codes every day on the game’s official social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The items that are redeemed from the coupons codes will be sent to the player’s in-game mailbox. It should be noted that the codes can only be redeemed during the event period. This means that the mail in their PUBG: New State inbox needs to be opened before the items’ expiry date. They cannot be redeemed after that date.

PUBG: New State isn’t the only game celebrating the Lunar New Year. Call of Duty: Mobile is also getting into the spirit of things. Players will get a new version of the classic NukeTown map that follows the Lunar New Year theme. Aside from this, they will also get a special Lunar New Year Puzzle event that will let them uncover a puzzle and earn rewards. Later in the season, players will see a new themed MP mode called Red Envelope Confirmed. This will be released towards the end of the month and is pretty much a 10v10 Kill Confirmed match, with a Lunar Year of the Tiger. In place of the dog tags, players will collect red envelopes and discover the hidden easter egg to launch fireworks. Collecting envelopes will also give players a chance to earn rewards.
