PUBG Mobile’s Chinese version now receiving Erangel 2.0 along with other new features
Erangel 2.0 is now rolling out for Game for Peace, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile.
Erangel 2.0 will come with for realistic graphics for the sky, surface, seawater and vegetation.
It also comes with Payload Mode 2.0, that adds new vehicles, weapons and equipment.
PUBG Mobile announced Erangel 2.0 almost a year ago. However, since then, the map hasn’t yet made its way to players, while Miramar 2.0 did in the form of Mad Miramar. Although, it looks like players won’t have to wait too long. According to a video posted by notable YouTuber, Mr Ghost Gaming, the new map has made its way to Game for Peace, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile. The YouTuber has also posted a video of the map.
Graphics and Layout
According to the YouTuber’s website, Erangel 2.0 will come with for realistic graphics for the sky, surface, seawater and vegetation. On top of this, the update has also unlocked the Ultra-High Quality option for players.
It also adjusts the structure of some of the buildings on the map such as the addition of basements. A number of notable locations are also said to be reworked. This includes the Nuclear Plant, the Mine and the Prison areas that will now see a new layout, structural changes and resource restructuring.
There are also new map elements like trenches, horse skeletons, abandoned tanks, and bunkers. The idea is to add a greater feeling of a land that has seen a major war in the recent past.
Payload Mode 2.0
The game’s Payload Mode has also been updated with the addition of new weaponised vehicles, heavy weapons, and equipment. New vehicles include weaponized versions of the UZA jeep, Dacia, Buggy, off-road vehicles. New heavy weapons include the AT4-A laser tracking missile and the M202 quadruple rocket launcher. New equipment includes a UAV control terminal, individual soldier radar, and explosion-proof clothing.
