PUBG Mobile will get a new ‘Cold Front Survival’ mode on April 16
The new mode should see players battle the elements as well as other players
Teasers also suggest the addition of a drone
PUBG Mobile players will soon get a new mode to play with. Called ‘Cold Front Survival’, the new mode is set to be available from April 16. The developers have not released details about the mode, but they have released a bunch of teasers for the new mode on social media and one can hazard a guess as to what players can expect.
Judging by the name, the game mode will focus on surviving the weather as much as enemies. Reports suggest that the mode will only be available on the Vikendi Map, which makes sense considering that the players would have to survive a blizzard. The game will most likely see players hunt for food and heat amidst a raging blizzard, while still keeping an eye out for enemies. The teaser images shared by the developers show players huddled around campfires, There is also a teaser image that shows a drone, suggesting that it may be added to the game. However, it is not yet known how that will work. Most likely it will be used to scan areas for supplies and enemies.
As the developers seem to be keeping their cards close to their chest, we’ll just have to wait till April 16 to know more.
Band together to survive
