Tencent is rolling out the version 0.9.0 update for PUBG Mobile to everyone. The update should already by heading out to all users and should automatically start downloading when you start the game. As expected, the update brings with it the Halloween festive event, which the developer is calling ‘Halloweeks’. The event will give players access to “spooky outfits’ such as Witch costumes, and even a Mummy costume. Vehicles also get in on the action with festive themed liveries. Other features include Night Mode in Erangel, pumpkins in Spawn Island and lost more. For a detailed description of everything that the update has to offer, click here.

PUBG Mobile isn’t the only version of the game that is getting a festive makeover. The PC version of the game is also getting a Halloween themed event. PC players can now pick up costumes such as the Killer Clown, Maniacal Butcher, Ancient Mummy, and Bloody Nurse. The developer notes that each set will be sold individually, or as a crate at a reduced price. The Maniacal Butcher costume for example, will cost players 10,000 BP. Players are also encouraged to keep an eye on the official PUBG Twitter feed in order to know how they can win one of the costumes in an screenshot contest that is coming up. The developer also planned to offer a Haunted Pumpkin Mask item temporarily to everyone who plays the game between October 25, and November 11. However, it was forced to cancel this due to an issue with the Player Care package item claiming process. Regardless, the developers did post a pretty awesome poster to go with the update.
