HIGHLIGHTS

PUBG Mobile is teasing a crossover with Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 hinting at a new Zombie mode in the game.

PUBG Mobile is all the rage right now and as the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge comes to a close in Dubai, the developer has teased a team-up with Capcom’s popular upcoming survival horror title Resident Evil 2. PIBG Mobile tweeted out the information saying, “The last day of #PMSC2018 Dubai Finals. What could be more exciting than announcing that PUBG MOBILE is teaming up with @RE_Games! Something is coming very soon. #pubgmobilexre2.” The teaser for the PUBG Mobile-Resident Evil 2 crossover comes with a video of a building filled with Zombies. For now, it is not clear if the partnership will result in just RE2-inspired skins or if it will actually bring a Zombie-mode to the game, but the latter seems likely given the video.

Another image shared by SavyGamer.co.uk Founder Lewie Proctor (see below) shows that Resident Evil 2 skins are definitely involved in this team-up. This isn't the first time PUBG Mobile has announced a team-up with a popular franchise. Previously the game revealed Joker and Harley Quinn Suicide Squad Skins.

The next big PUBG-related event is the upcoming release of PUBG for PS4. After a year of exclusivity for the Xbox platform, PUBG will finally hit PS4 consoles on December 7. The game could also soon receive a new map with a snow draped landscape. The new map that will reportedly be called Vikendi and could be first made available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
