Tencent, the guys behind PUBG Mobile have announced that they will be hosting daily tournaments on Discord. Those who do not have a team can look for new teammates in the Discord server. The tournament may be a good idea for skilled players who are getting bored during the lockdown and are looking for a new challenge.
It should also be noted that May 2 is the last day for PUBG Mobile’s ongoing ‘Lucky Money Tree’ event. The event gives three players the chance to win prizes every day. One player will win an Apple iPhone 11, while two will win Apple AirPods. Other prizes include in-game items like outfits and skins.
In order to partake in the event, players will have to ‘shake the tree’ and to get a chance to shake the tree. Each player will get three chances to do so. The first chance is earned by logging into the game, while the remaining two chances will be earned by completing missions. Players will get the option to choose which mission they want to complete.
Tencent also recently announced that it will be updating the game to v0.18.0 on May 7. As one might expect, the new update is slated to introduce a bunch of new features and changes. The most notable new addition will be Miramar 2.0, a new version of the map that will come with new areas as well as vending machines where players will be able to pick up consumables. It will also come with a new version of the Win94 weapon that will feature a fixed scope. Another new addition is the Golden Mirado vehicle. To know more about the new update, click here.
