As we know, Sony's PS5 launch has been delayed in India, with the company citing "local import regulations". It was also reported that Sony did not hold the PS5 India trademark. However, Sony have taken steps to, and are close to acquiring the PS5 trademark in the country. The expected release date for the Sony PS5 in India is sometime in November. The company accidentally revealed the supposed launch date of PS5 as November 19 on the official website, but it was taken down immediately. It hasn't been officially confirmed by Sony. Regardless, we should expect an exact date in the near future.
As for acquiring the PS5, as of right now, only six stores have the console listed. Independent retailers do not have any listings for the PS5 or any of its accessories. It would appear that Sony has a selected list of retailers through which the console will be purchasable in the country. We don’t know for sure if supply will be limited to these retailers, but it does look like stock will be limited, especially at launch.
