PlayStation 4 games with a long story campaign

Updated on 03-Apr-2020

Multiplayer gaming is not everyone’s cup of tea. Some gamers simply want to turn on a game and get lost in a nice, long story. If you identify with the latter and are looking for the top-notch single-player experience, then you’ve come to the right place. Here’s a look at some of the best games with a long single-player campaign that are available on Amazon. Do note that these products were selected based on the features on offer.

Death Stranding

Video game developer, Hideo Kojima is not known for making games with short stories and his latest title, Death Stranding is no different. This game sees the player take on the role of a courier in a post-apocalyptic world. As a courier, it is your job to deliver vital supplies. This may not seem very exciting, but you also have to deal with a lot of dangers, including creatures known only as BTs.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience

Metal Gear Solid V was the game Hideo Kojima developed before Death Stranding and it too offers a top-notch single-player experience. The story goes back decades, so trying to explain it here is impossible. However, you do get a quality stealth action game that is considered to be one of the best ever made.

Fallout 4 – GOTY Edition

Fallout is a big name in the world of open-world RPGs and for good reason. The game offers a post-apocalyptic version of the US that is unlike any other. This world is a mix of the 60s and the future, with sci-fi weapons intermingling with classic guns. As this is the Game of the Year Edition, you get the standard version of the game along with a bunch of DLCs thrown into the mix.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is considered to be one of the greatest open-world games ever made, and for good reason. The game offers colourful graphics, top-notch gameplay and an exciting story. The game offers a ton of quests and side quests to partake in. As this is the game of the year, you get the base game as well as the DLCs.
