PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 delayed till November 20

PC gamers, be prepared to get disappointed once again. Ubisoft has finally revealed the release date for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3. The PC version of will hit store shelves on November 20 in the US and on November 24 in the UK. Gamers in India too can expect the PC version to launch around the same time frame.

The console (PS3 and Xbox 360) version on the game will be available from October 31st. This means that the game will launch nearly a month later for the PC. This isn’t the first time a game will be launching late for the PC. In the past too Ubisoft has delayed the launch of its major games on the PC, which includes the previous iterations of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. There is no real reason why publishers delay games for the PC, apart from trying to squeeze in graphics options and features, and even DRM.

But Ubisoft isn’t the only publisher releasing game late for the PC platform. Other publishers such as EA too have delayed the launch of some of their AAA titles on the PC.

Assassin’s Creed 3 can be counted on the top of the list of the most anticipated games of 2012. If you are wondering which is the best platform to pick up the game on, you may want to consider the PS3 version as it has 60 minutes of additional gameplay. You can read about it here.
