There seem to be scattered and unsubstantiated reports of PUBG Mobile India launching in India today. But that is not the case, or at least the guys over at PUBG Mobile India haven’t confirmed anything yet. As per their official website and official social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, the game is still in the ‘coming soon’ phase. There is also currently no confirmed launch date for the game. So all fans of PUBG Mobile should just hang tight and wait for an official confirmation.
RTI queries have revealed that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) hasn’t yet granted permission for the launch of PUBG Mobile. Moreover, there have also been reports that PUBG Mobile India officials have been unable to meet with the government with regard to the launch of the game. In fact, reports suggest that it is unlikely that the game would launch before March this year.
While the fate of PUBG Mobile India remains unknown, Fearless And United: Guards, aka FAU-G, continues to chug along. The game is all set to launch on January 26, which is India’s Republic Day. While details of the game itself is not yet known, we do know that one of the levels in the game will be set in the Galwan Valley. The game will mostly focus on melee combat, but the last released trailer does show the use of firearms, so we might see that too. It will also feature micro-transactions, but what we will spend it on is not yet known. Vishal Gondal, did confirm that the “game will be updated with new weapons, missions and levels over time.” To know more about the FAU-G, click here.
