Rumours have surfaced on the Internet today that reveal the launch date and the pricing for Nintendo’s next generation home console, the Wii U. The device is expected to hit store shelves on November and will be available in three models.

Details are still scarce as to what are the contents of these three iterations of the product. It could be bundled with an extra gamepad, or a few games or may be related to storage capacities. Details of the contents of the three variants are not known.

Nintendo’s next generation home console is expected to have quite a stellar lineup of launch games. Apart from having a traditional controller and being compatible with the motion controller of the Wii, the Wii U has a new controller called the Wii U GamePad. This controller houses a touchscreen along with traditional controller buttons. The touchscreen can be used as a secondary display and has unique gameplay mechanics as well as can be used as a primary display for playing games even when the television is off.
