New Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance trailer shows off Raiden’s new moves
Konami has released a new video that shows of Raiden’s capabilities in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid game. In the beginning the trailer shows what looks to be the potential start screen and kicks off directly into some gameplay moves.
The trailer shows off the stealth kills that can be performed by Raiden on the enemies, both, the ones those take a human form as well as the unmanned machines.
The trailer also features some of the kickass combos Raiden can perform while taking the enemy head on. On the timeline at one minute and 37 seconds, you can see Raiden in some slow motion action action as well. Raiden can wield his blade not only with his hands but his feet as well. Some of these moves are pretty slick and look extremely cool.
Cut anything is the theme of the game and Raiden can slice his way through his enemies in any way he likes. Raiden also has the ability to slice away bullets and projectiles shot at him. There is also a VR training room that gives you practice sessions to get a hang of Raiden’s moves. Staying true to tradition, Raiden can sneak his way around the levels hidden in a cardboard box.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is expected to hit store shelves for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 on February 21st 2013. Gamers can enjoy the trailer of the game below.
