Neverwinter Open Beta MMORPG releases to rave reviews

HIGHLIGHTS

It is now one week into Neverwinter's Open Beta and the game seems to be holding its own in the fiercely competitive MMORPG space.

Neverwinter is a Free2Play, D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) based MMORPG (if you don’t know what this is you shouldn’t even be reading this) that seems to be taking the MMO space by storm. The Open Beta was launched on April 30 and so far, the game seems to be gathering an ardent fan following.

Developed by Cryptic Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World, Neverwinter builds on the 4th edition of the D&D rule set to create an MMORPG that claims to set itself apart from the crowd of MMOs that are flooding the market.

Neverwinter is in itself a stand-alone game and not related to the Neverwinter Nights series in anyway. The game is set in the fictional city of Neverwinter but isn’t restricted to it, giving players the option to explore even the outskirts of this fabled land. With the inclusion of the Foundry, players will also be able to create their own dungeons, essentially offering an almost infinite level of customizability and level-design to the player.

So, what are you waiting for? The city of Neverwinter awaits! The game can be downloaded here.
