MTS launches Gamegod online multiplayer gaming platform in India
MTS says the Gamegod platform makes it possible for gamers to play on ranked servers in India. Flipkart will be handling pan India distribution of Gamegod.
Telecom operator MTS has launched a new gaming platform called Gamegod. The new online multiplayer gaming platform will enable video gamers to play on ranked servers in India. Price starting Rs. 1299; Gamegod kit includes, Single Unified License (SUL) of CS:GO along with the key to play the game, and Gamegod Premium membership card with a 30 day validity and steam wallet vouchers.
For a fully loaded Gamegod kit, customers need to pay Rs. 4499 to get an MBlaze Ultra datacard, Single Unified License (SUL) of CS:GO along with the key to play the video game, Gamegod Premium membership card with a validity of six months and Steam Wallet Vouchers for in- game purchases.

India’s first online, multiplayer, video gaming platform was today launched at CEBIT Plugged IN. The launch of GAMEGOD coincides with the roll out of two internationally successful games – Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS: GO) and DOTA 2. Powered by MTS, GAMEGOD to enable multiplayer online video gaming on ranked servers in India. To celebrate the launch, a first of its kind online multiplayer gaming championship with a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakhs is being organised. The launch of GAMEGOD, saw the presence of two internationally renowned gamers – Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev and Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov, both play for Natus Vincere (NAVI Team).
Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev also known in the gaming fraternity as ‘Pistol King’ is one of the most experienced players in Counter-Strike. He started his eSports career more than 10 years ago. Edward has won over 10 ASUS Cups which is a record achievement among the players from the CIS. Edward has his very own and unique playing style which exemplifies consistency and efficiency. Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov on the other hand is a professional DOTA 2 player from Ukraine. Funn1k's professional career began in 2010. Since that time he has played in various teams. However, his real breakthrough was his performance on the Darer team at The International 2.
