Lets take a quick look at the games being launched.

FIFA 14

The next installment in the FIFA franchise makes use of the powerful IGNITE engine only supported by next gen consoles. FIFA 14 does appear superior to its previous iterations offering more detail and depth in terms of gameplay mechanics. Battlefiled 4

Its time for battle again, fuelled by the next gen Frostbite 3 technology, Battlefield 4 is claimed to run at 60 fps on the PS4. It’s a blockbuster nonetheless and one that, despite its many flaws, you will want to experience.Check out our review of the Batllefield 4 for the PC here.

Need for Speed: Rivals

Rivals is one of the first cross-platform next-gen games to achieve a native 1080p full HD resolution on the PlayStation 4. The game features rivalry between cops and racers as both sides compete in an all-out war featuring the fastest cars, mods and technology in a gritty open road environment. Play as either a cop or racer, where each side of the law has its own set of high stakes challenges, rewards and consequences. Risk everything in the ultimate high stakes rivalry.

KillZone: Shadow Fall

A game which could become a perfect launch title for Sony’s new machine. We step into the shoes of Shadow Marshal who, thirty years after the events of KillZone 3 , is maintaining order in a new world where the Helghast and the Vetkans live side by side divided by a massive wall in a futuristic city.

The game has largely received positive reviews sitting at over 70% on metacritic while IGN gave the game an 8 out of 10. Should be worth a buy.

Knack

PS4 Exclusive

Mankind must turn to an unlikely hero named Knack to protect them from a dangerous new threat. During the game, Knack discovers that he has a skill (hence, knack) that allows him to incorporate ice, metal and other substances into his body, giving him new abilities from level to level.

However, the game has largely been received critically, sitting at an aggregate score of 56/100 and 58.21% at GameRankings and Metacritic. IGN gave the game a 5.9 appreciating the game’s concept but critcizing the gameplay.

All the above mentioned titles have been priced at Rs.3,999.
