The all-digital console is anticipated to be released sometime between the upcoming months of June and July. However, there could be a delay in this launch.

Currently, pricing details for the all-digital console are unavailable. However, considering its digital-only nature, it’s expected that the white Xbox Series X might be priced $50 to $100 lower than the current Xbox Series X with 1 TB storage.

Aside from the colour variation and the absence of an optical disc drive (ODD), the white Xbox Series X could have several other modifications.

The expected changes are an improved heatsink and an upgraded Nexus card compared to the one featured in the current Xbox Series X.

In related news, it was recently reported that Microsoft is shaking up the design team for the next Xbox console. Instead of the team behind the Xbox Series X, the Surface division at Microsoft is expected to lead the charge.

The decision to shift the project to the Surface team could be because of rumours circulating about a new handheld Xbox device. Given the Surface team’s reputation for crafting high-quality portable devices, it seems logical for Microsoft to entrust them with this potential project.

There has been mixed information regarding the rumoured handheld Xbox. Some sources suggest it will likely be more affordable and less powerful than the next-gen Xbox, while others claim it might boast comparable power but at a higher price point. Ultimately, only time will unveil what exactly are Microsoft’s plans.
