The game has trains, but it is not usable by players.

It looks like this content was cut to ensure the game releases on time

Cyberpunk 2077 has been in the news for a number of reasons these days, for issues like bugs, crazy physics, or performance issues essentially making the game unplayable for certain gamers. This time around, a player has found a feature that was seemingly removed from the game before release.

A Reddit user called Sybekul shared a video, showing a Railway system for the game that was removed from the final version. It looked like an entire railway system was in the works but may have been cut to meet the release date of the game or left incomplete intentionally to make the game’s universe seem more realistic.

Although the game has trains, they cannot be ridden by the player. The video clip shows the player following train tracks and entering a large building that appears to be a Railway station. Inside, the building is missing floors, ceiling, walls, and other assets which show that this feature of the game is left incomplete.

Before the release, CD Projekt Red had announced that they would remove the wall-running mechanic, which was previewed during the 48-minute gameplay reveal in August 2018. The developers had announced that due to design reasons, the vertical scaling in the game would be scrapped.

The game currently has several bugs, and the developer is slated to launch two major hotfixes – one in January and the other in February which aims to resolve most bugs and hopefully improve the performance on last-gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One).

The developer also released a hotfix last week which fixed the issue for the PC Gamers losing their saved progress. The hotfix also brings with it more stable memory management for console gamers.
