Rockstar Games will launch the GTA 6 title in the fall of 2025.
Grand Theft Auto, or GTA, has its own fan base and fans are very eagerly, desperately now, waiting for GTA 6 launch. It has been a while since a new title and then even after the teaser, we have no clarity about the drop. Fans are trying to say that the most unlikely things can happen, but they are not sure about the release of GTA 6. But but but…. we now have a clearer image of the release date. At least that’s what we’d like to think. Read along to find out.
Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of Rockstar Games and is behind GTA. It has spilled some tea about the release of the new GTA title, and it is slightly positive. Take-Two recently had its latest earnings call where it also revealed this information.

GTA 6 launch timeline
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, said, “Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of calendar 2025 to fall of calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.”
He further added that he was confident that Rockstar Games will launch the GTA 6 title in the fall of 2025, in order to reassure the eager fans. But we think that there might be many roadblocks prior to the release because of the internal challenges that Rockstar Games has to deal with.
Reportedly, the employees are not very happy with the return-to-office policy. In addition to this. Take-Two has even laid off many developers and closed down game studios Intercept Games and Roll. Although they have denied the latter claims.
