Rockstar has finally announced the release date for its upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too long. It should be noted that only the digital version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be available on November 11. The physical version for the Microsoft Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Sony PlayStation 4 on December 7.
Aside from announcing the release date, Rockstar also unveiled the trailer for the game. This gives us our first look at the game. Judging by the video, the game will feature greatly improved graphics with higher resolution, better draw distances, more detail, new lighting system and more. Further, the game also eschews realism and sticks to the cartoon-like aesthetics that the games are known for. You can check out the video below.

Rockstar notes that the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will also include changes to gameplay. This includes modern control upgrades that include improvements to targeting and lock-on aiming, updated Weapon and Radio Station Wheels, updated Moni-Maps with enhanced navigation, updated Achievements, and more.
Nintendo Switch users will get a few enhanced features such as Gyro aiming and touch screen camera zooming, pans and menu selection. The PC version will include support for Nvidia DLSS and new Accomplishments via the Rockstar Games Social Club. Console players have some good news coming their way as well. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition from November 11 onwards. Meanwhile, PlayStation Now subscribers can play Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition from December 7 onwards.
