Garena has announced a partnership with Kodansha to add Attack on Titan content to Free Fire. The crossover event will go live sometime in March, although an exact date is not yet provided.

Harold Teo, Free Fire Producer at Garena stated, "Free Fire players can soon battle in the style of one of the world’s most captivating modern dark fantasy anime – Attack on Titan. The series has captured the imagination of many worldwide with its unique and immersive narratives; we’re excited to bring this over into the world of Free Fire.”

What to expect in the Garena Free Fire and Attack on Titan crossover

As one might expect, Free Fire’s crossover with Attack on Titan will feature skins, outfits and more. All of these will obviously be based on the Attack on Titan anime. This includes outfits based on the Survey Corps division, as well as those based on the Titans themselves. Other features include gun skins and in-game items and collectables.

This isn’t the first time Garena has announced a crossover event with a popular Anime. Back in January, the developers announced a partnership with One-Punch Man. This included One-Punch Man themed items like Easter eggs on the spawn island and reskins of in-game elements like airdrops and airships. Players also got the chance to get Saitama and Genos character costumes. There are also backpacks and weapon skins that places could collect.

Garena is already preparing to update Free Fire with the OB26 update. The game is currently down for maintenance, in and should be back up within a few hours. The new update is tipped to include a Revive system, new game play elements, new characters and more. It will also buff and nerf certain weapons to make the game more balanced.
