First look: Assassins Creed 3, Halo 4 and a new Forza game

Updated on 06-Mar-2012

If it wasn’t enough that we will see the launch of Mass Effect 3 in March 2012, the Gods of gaming have blessed us with a glimpse of some awesome games headed our way in 2012.

Assassins Creed 3:

Set to launch on October 30th 2012, new details have emerged about the next Assassin. You will don the role of Conner, born to an English father and a native American mother. Conner is raised in the Mohawk tribe. Set between 1753 and 1783, the story will draw an inspiration from the American Revolution. True to tradition, the game will introduce you to historic characters such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Charles Lee. Expect to become an Assassin on the PC, XBOX 360, PS3 and the upcoming Wii U.

The making of Halo 4:

If you were skeptical that Bungie won’t be making the next Halo game, and the trailer at E3, 2011 didn’t impress you, then we have something that will blow you away – first look at the making of Halo 4.

343 Industries (the new developer of the game) has gone back to the drawing board with some of the concepts, artwork, environment and weapon design while keeping in mind the core values of the Halo franchise. The making video shows off a first in-game look at Master Chief, the updated Battle Rifle, and exciting multi-player spaces. The game is expected to hit shelves towards the end of 2012.

Forza Horizon announcement:

If you weren’t done with Forza 4, we suggest you buckle up and finish the game as its next iteration is expected to launch in the fall of 2012. Little details about the game are known and the trailer is more of a teaser and doesn’t reveal much about the game. No gameplay either. But it’s still worth a watch!
