Ever since GTA 5 came out in 2013, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next installment. It has been over 10 years now, and the wait is still on for GTA 6. Hopefully, by next year the gaming gods will have mercy on us and drop the next title. But before that, I have some sad news to share. While a lot of people are waiting to play the game, not all the PlayStation owners will be able to get their hands on it. Want to find out why? Read till the end.
According to data shared by Sony, PlayStation boasts over 118 million monthly active users. Out of these 118 million users, half of them still use PlayStation 4. You might be wondering why I am sharing this data with you. Well, this has significance.
According to the press release shared by Rockstar, GTA 6 will only be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the upcoming PS5 Pro. This means that approximately 60 million users might not be able to play the game, just because they own a PS4.
This is pretty disappointing for most users as they will have to upgrade to PlayStation 5 just to play the game.

Well, all the wait is just fueling our curiosity and the rumours online. The chatter on the internet suggests that the map on GTA 6 this time is going to be the largest map ever that Rockstar Games has created. This will also beat Red Dead Redemption 2. Other rumours suggest that this time the map will not only Florida but parts of Georgia too. This time we might also get to see the highest number of mini-games.
Do you have a PlayStation 4? What do you think about Rockstar Games’ move to not offer the game for PS4 users? Let me know in the comments.
