Call of Duty: Mobile has teased the addition of another weapon to the game. While this weapon was slightly tricky to figure out, we can confirm, with a high degree of accuracy that this weapon is the AS VAL. The weapon is already a part of other Call of Duty titles like the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot.

When will AS VAL be added to Call of Duty: Mobile?

Activision has noted that the weapon will be a part of the next season of Call of Duty: Mobile. However, we don't yet know how players will be able to acquire it. The Season 1 New Order update introduced two new weapons to the game. The Fr. 556 assault rifle was available from day one of the update and players had to reach Tier 21 in the free battle pass to acquire it. The SKS marksman rifle was recently made available. It can be acquired via a Seasonal Challenge.

AS VAL – Details

We don’t yet know much about the AS VAL in Call of Duty: Mobile. But we can make some calls based on how the weapon functions in other Call of Duty titles. For this, we will be looking at how the weapon behaves in the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot. In that title, the AS VAL is an assault rifle with an integrated suppressor. This means that the barrel already has a suppressor built-in. It is not yet known if players will be able to place muzzle attachments in Call of Duty: Mobile Gunsmith mode.

The AS VAL/VSS Vintorez connection

A weapon with an integrated suppressor must be reminding PUBG Mobile players of the VSS. As it turns out, both the weapons were developed alongside each other. As a result, former PUBG Mobile players could plonk in a good scope in Gunsmith and get a bit nostalgic about the pre-PUBG Mobile ban days.
