Blind Esports Secures Victory at BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) 2023 in Ahmedabad
The BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES 2023 or BMPS 2023 concluded at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, with Blind Esports emerging as the champions. The grand finals, held from the 15th to the 17th of December, showcased the prowess of 16 participating teams competing for a total prize pool of a whopping INR 1 crore.
Team Blind Esports demonstrated exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork, securing the top spot with a total of 244 points. The runners-up, Team Gladiator Esports, scored 211 points and received a prize of INR 20 lakhs. Team Insane claimed the third spot with 174 points, earning them a prize of INR 10 lakhs.
The prize distribution for the top teams is as follows:
- Champion: Blind Esports – INR 40,00,000
- Runner-up: Gladiator Esports – INR 20,00,000
- 2nd Runner-up: Team Insane – INR 10,00,000
Individual awards were also presented, with the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title going to SPOWER from Blind Esports, who received INR 3,00,000. The Best In-Game Leader (IGL) award was claimed by AADI from Team Insane, earning him INR 2,00,000.
Teams securing positions fifth to sixteenth were also rewarded, receiving prizes ranging from INR 3,00,000 to INR 1,00,000.
The event attracted a significant audience, with approximately 15,000 fans present at Ahmedabad’s first-ever Esports LAN event. KRAFTON India’s CEO, Sean Hyunil Sohn, and Head of Esports, Karan Pathak, along with other dignitaries, were present on stage to hand over the trophy and the prize money to the winners.
