Krafton Inc., the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced that it has permanently banned 59,247 accounts between September 10 and September 16. The offending accounts were caught using illegal programs via the developers’ security system and community monitoring. In simpler terms, these accounts were banned for using illegal cheats such as aimbot, wall hacks, speed mods or even a combination of multiple hacks.
The news comes days after Naman Mathur, aka Mortal, expressed his frustration at the growing number of cheaters in Battlegrounds Mobile India. The player took to Twitter to vent out and stated, “BGMI classic matches are turning into home [sic] of cheaters. Ruining the fun every 2 out of 5 games making it impossible to stream freely and create content around the game.”

Last month, the developer had announced that it had permanently banned 1,81,578 accounts in the period between August 6 and August 12.
As with most multiplayer games, Battlegrounds Mobile India has some pretty strict rules when it comes to hacking and cheating. Accounts caught cheating can face anything for permanent bans, to a temporary account suspension. The severity of the punishment depends on the severity of the crime. A couple of days before the official launch of the Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton released a list of things that would get players banned.
Soon, Krafton Inc may have to deal with hackers and cheaters in another game as well. The developer will soon release PUBG New State, a new twist on the classic game. The developer has stated that it will reveal the official launch date for the game sometime in October. You can learn more about the game here.
